Amartem Softgel 80/480 is a high-strength combination antimalarial medicine containing Artemether 80 mg and Lumefantrine 480 mg. It is used in the treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, including resistant strains. The softgel form enhances absorption and patient compliance, especially for those who struggle with tablets. Artemether provides rapid parasite clearance, while Lumefantrine prevents relapse.
Dosage (Adults & Children ≥35 kg)
Adults & Children (≥35 kg): 1 softgel capsule twice daily (morning & evening) for 3 days (total 6 doses).
