Leuprolide Acetate Injection is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to suppress hormone production in the body. It is commonly prescribed in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and central precocious puberty (early puberty in children). By reducing estrogen and testosterone levels, it slows disease progression and helps control symptoms.
